Rafael Sánchez
Rafael Sánchez specializes in maritime themes, mainly figures, which are of an im-
measurable quality. The detail of his artwork is worthy of admiration. Baskets and
clothing, where the light and colour of the Andalusian beaches predominate.
He began his career at the School of Applied Arts “Mateo Inurria” in Cordoba,
being a disciple of Mister Amadeo Ruiz del Olmo with whom he completed two years of
learning. After that, he continued his journey at the Massana School of Barcelona.
He is a member of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona where he made drawings and pain-
tings from life.
He has taken part in numerous national and international exhibitions, and has been awar-
ded honorable mentions at the National Fine Arts School, besides winning numerous
awards and painting competitions.
He is a young artist living in the Andalusian capital. Without doubt he is one of the most
promising painters of the current impressionist painting arena. His talent to recreate, pa-
tios, gardens, parks and all kinds of landscape scenes is undeniable, with his touch of im-
pressionism and frankly exquisite quality.
