Domingo was born in Barcelona in 1942. At 15 he entered the world of illustration, in which he got recognized with successes in the United States and throughout Europe, working with numerous agencies and publishing illustrations in magazines and books with a worldwide circulation.
In 1974 he started a new artistic phase devoted to painting. In this new artistic phase he made numerous exhibitions in different art galleries in the city of Barcelona (Almirall, Vell i Nou i Mollori, etc ….) and participated in several important auctions.
Domingo’s work is varied where technique is concerned, as he dominates both oil painting and pastels.
The realistic language that Domingo gives his paintings is excellent, as well as the color that uses in them.
His favorite subject is women, which he masters perfectly thanks to his earlier jobs as an illustrator. He focuses on the female figure as symbol and source of beauty in his paintings.
