He is a young artist based in the Andalusian capital, Seville. Without doubt he is one of the most promising painters of the current impressionist painting arena. His talent to recreate patios, gardens, parks and all kinds of landscapes is undeniable, with his touch of impressionism and frankly exquisite quality.
Reina’s painting is gaining appreciation from the critics and increasing his value. His work is beginning to be recognized nationally, thanks to various of his works, prizes and several awards he has won in the last three years.
2011- First prize in the XVII outdoor arts exhibition Ciudad de Dos Hermanas, price granted by the Department of Youth and Culture.
2009 Acquisition-Award Jose Manuel Losada in the XV outdoor exhibition in Dos Hermanas.
2009 Third place in the VII painting competition in the College of Pharmacists Seville.
2011. Finalist in the National LX Autumn Exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts St. Elizabeth of Hungary.
2012. Finalist in the contest XLIV-city exhibition in Tomelloso 2012.
2012. Finalist in the painting competition Ateneo de Sevilla 2012.
Other awards.
2009. He made drawings for Knockoutkuba documentary that premiered at the Latin American film festival in Miami, and was screened at the European Film Festival in Seville, being awarded in the Filmstock and FICCU festivals.
2010. He designed a poster for Bugs Burning, a short film winner of the Audience Award at the 48 Hours Film Festival.
